About Bhopal

Bhopal, located in the Ahmedabad district of Gujarat. Bhopal was granted a municipality after it merges with nearby village Ghuma in February 2015. Till then it was considered a Satellite Town, Grampanchayat. The first government was formed by BJP after the initial election in November 2015 with a majority of 35 out of 36 seats. Earlier it was a part of Ahmedabad-Rural. Bhopal is under the category of the Ghatlodiya election area for Vidhan sabha Electoral purposes.
